Company Summary: R&R Event Rentals is a family owned and run business providing event decor for primarily indian weddings within the Bay Area.

Available Position: Assistant Event Producer Staff Member

Responsibilities: Assistant Event Producers Staff Member’s will be responsible for working within the framework of a particular event, the staff will also be expected to carry out all reasonable instructions for event set up and pickup. Tasks include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, guidelines and procedures

  • Assisting with loading and unloading event decor at venues and our warehouse

  • Assisting with event setup and decor

  • Assisting with event cleanup and teardown

  • Assisting with item cleaning, repacking and inventory

  • Supports and assists team members on as needed basis

  • Maintains neat, professional and clean appearance at all times

  • All other job duties and special projects as assigned



  • Staff members must be able to lift equipment up to 50 pounds on a consistent and repetitive basis

  • Be able to work on their feet for the entirety of their shift

  • Be willing to work a variety of shifts, weekends, evenings and holidays

  • Have the willingness to do "whatever it takes" to get the job done

  • Have a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license and ability to drive around the bay area for events

  • 18 years of age or older



  • Have a passion for weddings, events and the hospitality industry

  • Ability to analyze and solve problems while multitasking

  • Possess strong organization and time management skills

  • Represent the company to clients and staff in a positive manner at all times.

  • Organized & can follow procedures diligently

  • Highly self-motivated, well organized, and attention to detail

  • Prioritizes responsibilities to achieve results

  • Identifies additional tasks to be completed and willingly assists others

  • An eye for creativity, color and design

  • Self-starter who is energetic and flexible


Supervision: The Assistant Event Producer Staff Members report directly to and will take direction from the owners and creative directors, Raman & Raveen.

Conditions: Event shifts are typically split between set-up and tear-down. Set up consists of  2-8 hours, and all tear down shifts are at least 2 hours. Weekend, evening and early morning availability is mandatory. Shifts are primarily available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday as well as occasional weekday shifts. An Assistant Event Producer Staff member may be required to work outdoors in all kinds of weather and overtime on occasion.

Compensation: The Assistant Event Producers Staff Members at R&R Event Rentals will be compensated with an hourly wage. There are opportunities for hourly wage increases and growth within the organization. Working as an Assistant Event Producer Staff Member is a perfect way to explore the inner-workings of R&R Event Rentals and therefore the wedding industry. Shifts are available year-round.
